Activision partners with PepsiCo

Will do a double XP promotion for MW3
Activision has done a deal to partner with PepsiCo to celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The deal gets double XP while playing Modern Warfare 3 for various lengths of time, depending on the code redeemed from Mountain Dew and Doritos products.

Codes can be stacked to give up to 24 hours of total double XP, but each player is limited to a max of 24 hours of double XP total. Codes will give players 15, 45 or 90 minutes of double XP per code.

The codes will start appearing about October 10th and can be entered starting then. This should give players plenty of time to collect enough codes for a full 24 hours of double XP before the game actually arrives on November 8th.
Promotions such as this have been popular for many of the major big title releases.

No word yet on if we can expect a similar promotion for Battlefield 3, but it would not surprise us at all.
