Turn 10 studios, the developers of the Forza franchise, have confirmed that Xbox 360 owners will be able to download a demo of Forza Motorsport 4 starting on October 3rd. The demo comes out ahead of the full release which is slated for North America on October 11th.
The news confirming the release date of the demo was announced in a new video that contained a developer diary on the development and design of the Burmese Alps track that will appear in the game. There is no word on which track might be playable in the demo or what cars might be playable in the demo.
There is still time to pre-order Forza Motorsport 4 and get one of the pre-order bonus offerings. Depending on who you choose to pre-order from, you will have a number of choices for your pre-order bonus car. Each of the participating retailers is offering a different car option. If you want to take advantage of the pre-order bonus or you want to get the Limited Edition version (as we learned with Gears of War 3), you need to get your order in early.
