Tea Party upset over Zombie game

Written by Nick Farell

We have no sense of humor but we are not zombies
Conservative bloggers who have been sipping the Tea Party Kool Aid are incandescent with rage about a Flash game which portrays them all as Zombies. Proving that they are not brain dead morons stumbling from one reactionary stupidity to another, the Tea Party fans claim the game Tea Party Zombies Must Die encourages kids to shoot them.

The game puts the player into the roll of a survivor of a zombie apocalypse and arms them with weaponry to take out zombified, heavily stereotypical versions of Tea Party supporters as well as Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann. Tea Party favourites Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich are included as well as Fox News figures like Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and the recently fired Glenn Beck.

There are positive Obama facts in between levels and a few rants about the Tea party. The Zombies have titles like “Generic Pissed Off Old White Guy Zombie” and “Factory Made Blonde Fox News Barbie Zombie”.

Sadly the games are not that great. A bit like early Doom and extremely dated. But the humourless responds from the Tea Party just shows how nutty they really are.

More here.

Is that where they duct taped two sky scrapers together in the middle of the city cause they were falling to one side? xD

What the hell does this have to do with "IT news and reviews on graphics, memory, CPU and motherboards." Sounds more like you're on an agenda bandwagon. We get plenty of this crap from every other news outlet, how about writing about IT news that is actually IT related.

Encouraging kids to kill their political opponets in a video game is disgracefull.
We saw what happened in Demnark when a right wing nut case was inspired by writings of extreme political bloggers, so going the next step and making games like this is shamefull. What ever your ideology is, encouraging murder of people you disagree with is outright evil.

And dont tell me this isnt encouraging people to murder their political opponents.

What would the reaction be if the game was a pro-Nazi game hunting Jews. Or KKK white extremist game about hunting down blacks ?

You've never played video games, have you?

Yes... Ahahahaha! This game was soooooo funny!

Unless...

You did a game about zombie Jesse Jackson, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.

If you truly want to see an example of 'no sense of humour', watch the Democrats react to anything they don't agree with.

Remember how they flipped out about CROSSHAIRS? How apoplectic would they be about this game? It's the obvious double standard that exists in the media that pisses off the Tea Party (and rightfully so!)

Well it is obvious you don't know the actual stances of the tea party. There is a difference between Neo-Cons who try to sneak under the Tea Party banner (see Rick Perry) and those who actually mean what they say (see Ron Paul). Since when does standing for freedom and protection of civil liberties equate to nuttiness?

It is obvious that you have forgotten about the Crosshairs bill that Pennsylvania Democrat Bob Brady planned to introduce. How about writing a story about which you are actually informed.
