Well, if you bought into the hype and purchased an EA Sports Season Ticket, you are going to be able to start downloading Madden NFL 12 at 10 A.M. EDT (For Xbox 360 owners) or 6 P.M. EDT (for PlayStation 3 owners) today. Of course, that is a significant amount of time prior to it hitting dealer shelves next Tuesday.

The real question is whether the Season Ticket is worth the 2,000 Microsoft Points or $24.99 on PSN that it costs. Once again, we have to believe that for some Madden fans it will be worth it to get a jump start on everyone else who has to wait till Tuesday. Of course, you have to also have the disk space on your hard drive and be willing to wait for the download of the Madden NFL 12 download, which is almost 5GB.
