PNY rolls out its XLR8 GTX 580

PNY's XLR8 Liquid Cooled GTX 580 has been finally announced and has started to ship across the US of A. With Asetek maintance-free liquid cooler, the new XLR8 GTX 580 will also be avilable as a version that can cool you CPU as well.

The new PNY XLR8 GTX 580 is up to 10 percent faster and up to 30 percent quiter and cooler when compared to the reference GTX 580. It packs 512 CUDA cores and has ended up clocked at 857MHz for the GPU, 1714MHz for shaders and 4212MHz for 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface. The card features mini HDMI and two DVI outputs.

As noted, the card will aslo be available as a version that also has a CPU block. Interestingly enough both cards feature the same 12cm radiator paired up with a same 120mm fan. PNY also prepared a limited time bundle that includes a 16ft mini HDMI to HDMI cable, PNY t-shirt and an 8GB USB flash drive.

Both cards are currently avilable at PNY's website with a price tag set at US $579.99 and US $649.99 for the one that has a CPU block.
