You might remember that Left 4 Dead developer Turtle Rock Studios was acquired by Valve. Since then, the studio has been reformed under the leadership of original CEO Michael Brooks. Rumors surrounding the re-emergence of the studio started around March of this year, with leaks that they were working on something new.

Turtle Rock has apparently now signed a distribution deal with THQ for the new title, which is said to be something very special. The yet to be announced title is said to be shipping in 2013. Some are claiming this new project is the most ambitious thing the studio has ever worked on.

According to the whispers that we have heard, the title is apparently new IP and not something that they have done before.
