AMD rolls out Catalyst 11.5b hotfix

Performance boost for the new games
AMD has issued a second hotfix for the Catalyst 11.5 driver that is supposed to bring performance improvements as well as fixi some issues for multiple games including, newly released Dirt 3 and Witcher 2 games.

According to the release log, the 11.5b hotfix brings perfromance optimizations and fix for various quality issues for Brink, resolves transcoding video lagging issues when converting multiple H.264 clips to MPEG2 Blu-ray video, resolves the intermittent mouse cursor lag as well as some flickering issues when using an AMD Radeon HD 6000 series card with DDR3 memory in DirectX 9 mode with games like Civilisation 5, Dead Rising 2, Fallout 3, Mafia 2, NBA 2010, ShenGuiChuanQi, Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3, and World of Warcraft.

Other additions include support for additional Stereo 3D-capable displays (Viewsonic V3D241wm-LED) and 3D projectors, enabled AMD Crossfire scaling in Brink and The Witcher 2 as well as an improved performance in Dirt 3 title.
