Affair site angers Spanish men

Written by Nick Farell

We don't want our wives having affairs
Spanish men are up in arms over a new website which is geared to helping unhappy wives find affairs.

The posters from the victoriamilan.es company on street advertising boards in Madrid invite women to "Relive your passion. Have an affair!" They are accompanied by a photograph of a smiling woman with her arms around someone who is not supposed to be her husband.

Diego Gascón, wrote on the Spanish website's Facebook page that the site should be ashamed of promoting infidelity. "This site makes me sick. What kind of morality are you trying to promote?" wrote another contributor. He hoped that this sort of business does not prosper and had to close down because there are people who do believe in family, in their partners and in love.

It might have been different if it had been the man having the affair. After all that sort of thing has been acceptable in Spain for years. You are just never allowed to mention it. Besides if women are having affairs, there must be men they are having them with. The site claims it is the first in Europe to target people who are married or already in a relationship.

"We offer an atmosphere in which you can have fun, flirt, get to know someone and have an affair either close to home or far away," claims the website, which gives its address as a PO Box in Oslo, Norway.

Apparently you can find cyber-lovers and real ones from as far away as Sweden, Norway and Denmark. So you too can wake up in the morning with your mouth feeling like an ashtray and discover that the Swedish blond Filly you thought you picked up was more of a cart horse from the back streets of Madrid.

Nick, your attempt at humor fell flat like a day old beer.

I'd say let them... most Spanish women are fugly as hell, so there is reason to be "unhappy". And the few ones that are good looking don't last much single and are smart enough to take on a happy lives.

There might be another reason for this... maybe it's because nordic countries are shown to have an aging population so the plan to revive it is by "importing" "unhappy" chicks, which works fine in such a case.

I went to victoriamilan.es. One of the Youtube clips was a younger woman in bed with an older man. (Old enough to be her father!)...Eeewwww! :-x

While you can't stop someone going to this site, it says more about what's happening with the marriage than anything else. ie: If you're neglecting your partner to the point that she's riding another guy out of frustration, it says more about you than an affair website...

The best analogy I can think of is: A relationship is like a plant. If you don't look after it regularly, don't be surprised when things go down hill.

As for Nick Farrell's humour, why doesn't he spend more time digging more info up on Ivy Bridge and Bulldozer? What are the dirty details on them? :-?

Listen everybody: You All have it Backwards!!

The affair sites purpose is to protect ppls marriages. I am not joking.

If a woman, married or not, wants to have an affair, she will. So what is better for her husband? a) she having an affair with a norwegian guy and husband never finds out or b) she having an affair with the neighbour and when husband finds out things get ugly?
I know what I would choose.

Well, this "article proves that the ignorance and bigotry of some of fudzilla's staff is not constrained to technical matters only.
