Rumours of more Apple Hot Air

Refresh in June, don't hold your breath
The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell on earth rumour that the MacBook Air is going to get a June refresh.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst with Taiwan-based Concord Securities, told AppleInsider that the new MacBook Air models would use Intel’s Sandy Bridge microprocessors, integrated Intel graphics, and the Thunderbolt I/O port. In other words all the things that the MacBook Pro got when it was refreshed earlier this year.

Word on the street is that Jobs' Mob is was planning to get rid of the Air and simply update the Macbook Pro. For a while the Airs have been using much older technology compared to the MacBook Pro. It is almost as if Jobs has lost interesting in it. Perhaps because the Tablet fills a lot of the same market. If Apple is releasing a refresh for the beast it might be the Air's swan song.
