iPhone records all your movements

Steve needs to know where you are at all times
The official uniform of an Apple fanboy should include a tin foil hat, as it appears that their beloved iPhone is recording all their movements. The outfit which once made fun of Microsoft as being “big brother” has made a phone which records all its customers movements and stores it in the handset.

It is not clear why Apple is doing this. The data is not encrypted and can be found by anyone who sniffs the system. This means a copper in possession of your mobile can know exactly where you have been since you bought the gear,

The data includes locations and time stamps, and is apparently intentional it is even backed up, and restored if you buy a new iPhone. It was found by insecurity experts Pete Warden and Alasdair Allan who thinks Apple might have been tracking people since iOS 4.

Warden and Allan things that the updates are triggered by travelling between mobile phone cells or device activity. No other phone manufacturer is so arrogant that it collects user data in this way.

Of course the Tame Apple Press (Tap) sees nothing wrong with all this. In fact some of them have even got moist that Steve Jobs might have invented a new feature to use that data. Privacy groups are so stunned by the news that they can only assume that it is Apple's programming stupidity coming to the fore again.

Apple has a provision in its Terms of Service that allow for them to track users' locations, so there is nothing anyone can do about it. You could send back your iPhone to Steve Jobs and tell him where to put his tracking. But just be careful... black shirted Apple fanboys will know where you live.
