Keeps the Cypress GPU on market
Sapphire has announced its latest addition to the HD 5800 series lineup, the HD 5850 Xtreme and the HD 5830 Xtreme graphics cards. Despite the fact that these are based on not that young but popular Cypress GPU we are quite sure that they will still sell pretty good.

The HD 5830 Xtreme has 1120 Stream Processors and ticks at 800MHz for the GPU and 4000MHz for 1GB of GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit memory interface. The other Xtreme, HD 5850 packs 1440 Stream Processors and works at 725MHz for the GPU and 4000MHz for memory. Both cards feature CrossFireX support and have identical DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort (mini HDMI in HD 5830 case) outputs.

Sapphire has decided to strap these two cards with its quite famous cooling, which we had a chance to see on various Sapphire cards. This time around, it's a dual-slot design paired up with a central fan.

Sapphire HD 5850 Xtreme is already listed and available in some shops for as low as €109,90 while the HD 5830 Xtreme is listed and available at just below €100 or even lower depending on the retailer/e-tailer.

You can find them both
here.
