Should come soon
According to a manual spotted by the guys at Engadget, the upcoming Alienware M11x will feature already rumored Core i5/i7 ULV processors as well as the now pretty much confirmed Nvidia Geforce GT 540M graphics.

The manual also revealed that the new M11x R3 will feature faster DDR3 bus (1333MHz), a 2MP webcam, a better HD TrueLife LCD and 3G/4G optional broadband. The card will feature either 1 or 2GB of memory and in case you missed it, the GT 540M packs 96 CUDA Cores clocked at 1344MHz while the GDDR3 memory is clocked at 900MHz and paired up with a 128-bit memory interface, at least according to official Nvidia specs.

There is still no info regarding the price or the availability date but all rumours suggest that we'll see this one pretty soon.

More here.

Does look nice. But if the price tag is going to be high, it's not going to sell like hot cakes. But my personal opinion, Alienware needs to drop prices a little bit to gain a little more share and get better cooling for their computers. Also more air flow in there desktops.

No idea about this one but the fist M11x had awesome cooling. Price tag was (and will be) too high though.

they should have gone with a 550,560 or even a 6870

They most likely went with Nvidia because of 3D and Physx.

Oh yea, a GT 540M got enough power for that >.

Nice. After seeing what happened to Macbooks no wonder they went with Nvidia. :D

Oh yea, because its matter for Alienware if Apple cant make a driver.

Wait for the refreshed Acer Aspire TimelineX line up. Better bang for buck.

My 13" with i5-480M and AMD 6550 only cost $750CAD. Where as the Alienware MX11 costs well over a grand here. With the money saved, I swapped in a SSD and it runs very nicely now.
