Patriot rolls out 20MB/s Class 10 SDHC cards

LX PRO Series at 16 and 32GB
Patriot has uveiled its latest addition to the memory card lineup, a pair of SDHC card rated with Class 10 rating and capable of achieving speeds of up to 20MB/s. The new LX PRO Series will be available in 16 and 32GB capacities and should star shipping in April.

Les Henry, Patriot Memory's Vice President of Engineering stated that due to a constant improvement in quality of digital camera and camcorder market, the Patriot LX PRO series SDHC cards simply make sense. Photographers and videographers can now capture images in continuous shot mode or make videos at maximum video bitrates, with no worries regarding memory card performance.

As noted, the first models in the LX PRO series will feature 16 and 32GB of space and should be available sometimes in April. Unfortunately, the price hasn't been announced.
