2K to re-release Mafia II

Written by David Stellmack

Director’s Cut lots of released DLC
2K Games is re-releasing Mafia II in a new Director’s Cut Edition for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms. While we don’t yet know when the release date will be, it appears to be in stock for shipment at Amazon.

The Director’s Edition will apparently include three additional story packs, four additional cars and several clothes packs. Some of this content has already been available for purchase as downloadable content, but some of the cars and clothes packs are apparently from the various retail pre-order offerings that were later offered as DLC.

Sources tell us that they expect the retail price to be likely $30 for the Director’s Cut edition when it is released to other retailers, but the pricing, as well as the release date, has yet to be confirmed by 2K Games.
