NFS: Hot Pursuit to get DLC packs

Written by David Stellmack

Only for 360 and PS3, not for PC players
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit players on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be able to buy some new downloadable car packs to add to their cars in the months ahead. Both a Lamborghini and Porsche DLC packs are in the works, but neither the developer nor publisher would confirm that this is the case.

According to our sources, the packs will likely be sold for $10 or 800 Microsoft points when they are released, but our sources tell us that the pricing is still in flux and could go up or down, depending on a lot of factors.

Speaking of when they are released, PC players will likely not be able to get their hands on the DLC car packs, as the developer and publisher previously announced that they would not be offering additional DLC content for the PC version of the game. While some PC players are holding out the slim hope that they might see some additional cars in the next patch for the PC version of the game, our sources tell us not to count on it.

Expect news to break in the next few days on the plays for both the Lamborghini and Porsche DLC packs and when they will arrive for sale.
