2nd generation of Playon!HD and Playon!HD Mini
In addition to the quite interesting Fluxx media player based on Intel's Atom CE4150 CPU, ACRyan has showed its 2nd generation of the quite popular Playon!HD and Playon!HD Mini media players. The update is based around Realtek's new 1185 media player processor which adds a couple of neat features that previous generation was missing.

As noted, the Playon!HD2 and the Playon!HD Mini2 are both based on the new Realtek 1185 chip and, as was the case with previous generation, these two will offer smooth video and audio playback, even when pushed to play with FullHD content. The main novelty are social network features that include Facebook, Twitter, MSN and Skype options. Other noticeable updates are based on connectivity as this one will feature a USB 3.0 port as well as the EZ Drive HDD slot which should make an installation of the HDD a breeze.

Both of the new Playon! players have a Gigabit Ethernet, Wireless-N option via external adapter, and are running on ACRyan's latest GUI 2.0. One of the new features is the upcoming WePlayon! portal that should provide a decent amount of online content.

As before, the new Playon!HD Mini2 has no HDD and should sell at around $/€109, while the HDD-less Playon!HD2 should reatail at around $/€169. The Playon!HD2 will be available with 500GB, 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB HDDs, and should retail at 205, 229, 259 and $/€289, respectively.

The entire lineup should be available both in Europe and the States early next month.
