The latest installment in the You Don’t Know Jack franchise and the first for consoles has been delayed till February 8th (rather than its original projected release date of January 25th) according to sources at publisher THQ. The Jellyvision quiz show game has been promised to arrive for some time.

When it arrives, it will be the first full release of an YDKJ title in 8 years, according to reports. To tide players over, Jellyvision will be providing a web-based sneak preview of the upcoming console version that will be arriving for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS and PC.

While many don’t remember the fun that YDKJ offered, we do, and finally getting a version to play on our console is something that we have been waiting for. As long as it is every bit as good as the other releases in the franchise, a slight delay will be worth the wait.
