We are not monopolists

Microsoft
wants the Supreme Court to kill off a multi-billion dollar anti-trust monopoly lawsuit slapped on it by Novell.

Novell is suing Microsoft over its word processing suite, WordPerfect, which it bought in 1994. Novell sold Wordperfect because it claims it received a monopolistic squeeze from Microsoft. This made it impossible to sell its office productivity suite.

Novell's claims that Microsoft maliciously withheld technical information about Windows 95 to give Microsoft Office an advantage over its rival software. Microsoft has tried twice to kill off the case and has been denied each time. This time it is hoping that the Supreme Court will finally deal with it.
