GOTY edition to arrive on Mac December 3rd
Mac fans will get a chance to find out what all of the fuss is about when Borderlands arrives for the Mac platform on December 3rd. The Mac version will be a Game of the Year (GOTY) edition that will include all of the four downloadable content packs for the game.

As with other PC developers, Gearbox is teaming up with another developer to test the Mac gaming waters. Feral Interactive is handling the publishing of the Mac version of Borderlands. With Mac sales surging over the past year or two, a number of gaming developers have been attempting to really create a bigger and more robust Mac gaming market space.

The Mac version of Borderlands will retail for $49.95 when it arrives on December 3rd. Currently, there is no word yet if it is also going to be appear on Steam for Mac as a digital distribution offering. Sources tell us that this is likely possible. Recently, Gearbox’s Borderlands publisher Take 2 Interactive did a deal that saw the Grand Theft Auto trilogy make its way to a Mac release.
