by on16 November 2010

First round of patches coming to deal with glitches
Treyarch is confirming within their forums that they are working quickly to address a number of complaints about glitches in the multiplayer gaming modes of Call of Duty: Black Ops. The first patch has already been released for the console platforms, with a second patch in the pipeline to address additional issues and glitches reported by players.

The next patch will targeted to deal with reported lag and match making issues, among other things. Treyarch claims that they have addressed a large number of issues to deal with reports of map stability and multiplayer bugs.

While the improvements can’t come soon enough, players continue to play despite the issues. It would seem that at least in the short term you can expect a steady stream of patches for Black Ops. Even with all of the complaints, the title has received excellent reviews; and sales of the title were strong enough to make it the fastest selling title in the Call of Duty franchise.
