Kinect light saber title a long way off

Don’t look for it till the 2011 holiday season
One of the most interesting of the Kinect titles that has been outed so far is the Star Wars light saber title that is in development by Lucas Arts. The cat was let out of the bag, so to speak, by none other than Microsoft’s Kinect evangelist, Kudo Tsunoda that it is still a way from release.

How far from release, you might ask? Well, according to Tsunoda, we should look for it to arrive during the 2011 holiday season. Yes, that’s right… perhaps the most compelling Kinect title in development isn’t arriving till next year.

Despite this spot of bad news for Kinect owners that were hopeful that it would arrive sooner, a number of other titles are in development for Kinect. As a matter of fact, another one of the titles that has been previewed is the Turn 10 studios developed Forza for Kinect title. Apparently, development on this title is also proceeding, but it, too, is slated for release late next year.
