Sony says “no comment” to GT5 dates

by on10 November 2010

No official announcement has been made
Sony is now apparently dismissing the number of leaked dates that are appearing; claiming to represent the official date of when the much delayed Gran Turismo 5 will finally makes its way to store shelves.

Despite sources suggesting a November 30th release for North America and a November 27th release in Europe, it does appear that at least for the moment these dates are unconfirmed as well as wrong.

Sony is sticking to its standard, “no comment” play, saying that they have not made any official announcement as to when the game might officially be launched. This is not surprising, as Sony will likely want to be 100% sure before announcing another date for GT5.

Despite a number of videos and screenshots and the trophy list making their way to the Internet, Sony’s “no comment” stance may not last much longer, and it might be an indication that we are getting closer to a release; but at least for the time being, we suggest that you don’t believe any release dates that you hear.
