EVGA to roll out factory overclocked GTX 580

Written by Slobodan Simic

EVGA GTX 580 SuperClocked works at 792MHz

The early listing at Newegg.com also revealed the factory overclocked EVGA SuperClocked GTX 580 card, which is currently available and selling for US $579.99, US$20 more than the reference clocked one.

The EVGA GTX 580 box shot also reveals that EVGA will probably be working on SSC and FTW versions of the GTX 580 and these usually end up with a higher factory overclock. The EVGA SuperClocked GTX 580 on the other hand works at 797MHz for the GPU, 1594MHz for those 512 CUDA Cores while the memory ended up clocked at 4050MHz. The card still uses, what appears to be, the reference cooler and features two DVI outs and one mini-HDMI out.

You can find it listed here.

Nope... tomshardware went ahead of the NDA ... The NDA should be up in about half an hour ... Not that we care :)

Don't forget about EVGA's new Black Ops edition GTX 580. In addition to that everyone who registers (while supplies last) will get a copy of 3D Mark 11 when it is released:

I'm not exactly a huge expert...I would like to know how you guys rate EVGA cards in general? and which manufacturer you would usually recommend...

EVGA always seem to be very creative to me...usually great for enthusiasts.

They by far have the best products. They are nvidias number one partner and its obvious why. They have the best tech support of any company hands down. Just go join their forums and you will see why.

I actually live under the impression that Gigabyte makes good cards as well.
