Again

Microsoft
has once again found itself embroiled in a legal fight with the European Commission, this time over shipping the Explorer browser with its Windows operating system and some compatibility issues.

The EC will launch two probes: one to examine the Explorer issue and one to look at interoperability of Microsoft products with rival solutions. The latest moves come only months after the EC's ruling against Microsoft back in October.

Microsoft was slammed with a 500 million Euro fine last time around, and the company says it will cooperate with the latest investigation.
