4th quarter release is likely after all
The Wanako-developed 3D Ultra MiniGolf Adventures 2 appears to possibly be bumped from its planned third quarter release for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Sources tell us that the Konami-published title, which will be sold via download in the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store, has apparently been delayed again for reasons unknown.

In the shadows we hear that while the developer was still trying to make a 3rd quarter release, time has simply just run out. The source tells us that Konami is working on it and know that many are eager to get their hands on the release; but the much larger size of the title over the first one has apparently led to more debugging time, and when you combine some of the other new features, such as the Xbox 360 Avatar support, the difference between the two platforms has to be dealt with.

We are not giving up hope yet that it will arrive before the end of the year, but it seems that delays are just the nature of the business these days. Still, the game is expected to be popular once it finally is released, whenever that might be.
