BFBC2 Ultimate Edition now confirmed

Written by David Stellmack

Arrives today in North America, in the U.K. on Friday
DICE and Electronic Arts have released a new Ultimate Edition of Battlefield Bad Company 2. The Ultimate Edition is pretty much what we told you about previously, with an additional twist.

The twist is that it includes a copy of Battlefield 1943 (which was previously released only as a download for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3).

Beyond getting Battlefield 1943 as part of the Ultimate Edition, buyers will also be getting all of the vehicle and weapons upgrades that were included only in the Limited Edition release of the game.

Of course, buyers will get the Onslaught 4 player co-op mode, as well as the other new maps and modes that have been released so far.
