Windows 7 sales booming

Written by Fudzilla staff

25 million new users last month
It appears that Windows 7 sales are growing steadily and Microsoft has apparently sold 175 million copies since launch. At the moment, some 16 percent of PCs worldwide use Microsoft’s latest OS.

Just last month Redmond confirmed sales of 150 million units, so it turns out that 25 million copies were sold in about a month’s time. This is somewhat surprising considering we are speaking about June, a traditionally slow sales month.
