Crossover so big it will yield two games
We had been hearing rumblings over the past couple of weeks that Capcom and Namco were going to announce something that was rumored to be a Capcom Vs. Namco title. It turns out that the two companies are working together, but the result is actually going to be a pair of Street Fighter Vs. Tekken titles.

According to various reports, the first title will be the Capcom title, Street Fighter X Tekken. The second release will be a Namco title to be called Tekken X Street Fighter. Both games will give players a chance to pit characters from each of these very popular fighting games in a fight to find out once and for all who is the best of the best.

Each game will play and fight in the style of the game. This means Street Fight X Tekken will play and the controls will be similar to a Street Fighter title, while Tekken X Street Fighter will play and offer the controls of a Tekken title. From our understanding no official rosters of available characters has been confirmed just yet.

While no release dates have been talked about yet, both titles have entered development. Our sources seem to think the title is likely for a mid 2011 release when it arrives for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
