In a recent interview, Brian May, the guitarist for the rock band Queen, seems to have once again let the cat out of the bag by suggesting that a deal has been done for a Queen version of Guitar Hero. This seems to confirm what we had already told you several months back about the likelihood that Queen was going to get their own game.

May says that he expects a 2011 release for the title and that this will be the first Guitar Hero title that will let the player play an entire concert. Playing an entire Queen concert could be something else.

Previously, Queen had appeared in their own SingStar release, but it seems May thinks that this release will be much more popular; and apparently (according to our sources) he intends to be much more engaged in the development of the title.
