Review: Non-reference cooling and a factory overclock

Testbed

Motherboard: MSI P45D3 Platinum ( Provided by: MSI );
Processor: Intel Core 2 QX9770 Extreme edition at 3.6GHz ( Provided by: Intel );
Memory: Corsair Dominator 12800 7-7-7-24 ( Provided by: Corsair);
HDD: WD VelociRaptor 300G 10,000RPM ( Provided by: SmoothCreation );
Driver:  ForceWare 191.07, Catalyst CCC 9.9 Vista 32 SP1

Futuremark Tests

Gainward's GTX 275 Golden Sample scores up to 4.3% better than the reference GTX 275. Slightly better results on Gainwards card are a direct result of overclocking the GPU from reference 633MHz to 648MHz, the shaders from 1404MHz to 1420MHz and the memory from reference 1134MHz to 1185MHz.
