Playstation 3 finally gets DivX playback

New updates for PS3 and PSP available

 

As promised, Sony has released new firmware updates for Playstation Portable and Playstation 3.

The Playstation 3 firmware gets updated to version 2.10 and finally brings DivX and VC-1 (WMV) video playback support. In addition to video playback Sony has added a voice changer feature if you like to have some fun during voice/video chat.

The Playstation Portable firmware has gone up to 3.80 version bringing Internet radio support. You can find additional info on Internet radio at Sony US blog. The new firmware versions are available at Sony's official Web site.
