Review:
Micing on the cake

Pleomax by Samsung is a company that made its name from accessories, and they were kind enough to supply a couple of their products so that we can review them for your reading pleasure.

Pleomax - Dolphin Mouse

Dolphin is the simplest optical mouse from Pleomax. You can get it in four colors (black, white, yellow and grey). The optical sensor packs a resolution of 800 dpi, and it will be enough for any office task. It’s a USB mouse, but just in case you don’t have any free USB ports, Pleomax ships a USB-to-PS/2 adapter. Dolphin design went really well and the mouse looks even cooler with an LED lamp in the scroll wheel.

Conclusion:

With only two buttons and a scroll wheel you can’t quite call this a gaming mouse, but it will be sufficient for regular non-demanding users. Although the design looks cool, it didn’t quite fit in our hands well, but it did get the job done.

Specs:

·  800 dpi

·  Blue LED lamp

·  Tracking: 300dpi 50 mm/sec

·  Dimensions: 68mm / 38.5mm / 123mm

·  Cable: 2.7 mm/1,800

Pleomax – Mutimedia Mouse

Pleomax’s slightly more advanced optical office mouse somewhat resembles Logitech’s MX-518. In the box you’ll find the mouse, manual and an install CD. After a simple installation you can program each button to your liking. Some default handy functions will already be assigned, but you can change them as you see fit. The mouse has a resolution of 800 dpi.

Thanks to the ergonomic design, the mouse fits in your hand perfectly, and during long hours of work it will definitely come in handy (get it?). It has 9 assignable buttons in total. The only thing that’s not so great about this mouse are the middle four buttons that are hard to reach without lifting your hand off the mouse.

Conclusion:

A great mouse for office work and slightly more advanced users, but we wouldn’t recommend it to gamers due to awkwardly placed middle four buttons and a resolution of only 800dpi.

Specifications:

· 800 dpi

· 9 buttons

· Weight 95g

· Cable 1,5 m

· Dimensions 121mm/79mm/44mm

Pleomax – Wireless Mouse

With Pleomax – Wireless Mouse, you get a wireless USB receptor, two LR03 (AAA) 1.5 batteries, CD and a manual. Installation is quite straightforward and all you have to do afterward is plug in the USB receptor.

This model is almost identical to its colleague from the previous page, except for the cable. Wireless works great even from greater distance so you can use it as a remote when viewing movies on your PC.

This model has a resolution of 1000 dpi. It fits great in the hand and it also has 9 assignable buttons, but again they’re awkwardly placed. Although it packs two batteries, it is quite light, which is often not the case with wireless mice.

Conclusion:

A good office mouse for anyone who dislikes a forest of cables.

Specs:

· 1000 dpi

· 9 buttons

· Weight 110g

· Wireless

· Dimensions 121mm/79mm/44mm

Pleomax - Retractable mini Mouse

A perfect solution for laptop users, this small optical mouse has two buttons and packs a resolution of 800 dpi. Its cable retracting system is quite practical, and it definitely comes in handy if you’re using your laptop in confined spaces.

Just like all the smaller mice, it doesn’t fit perfectly in your hand, but then again, it wasn’t made for playing Counter Strike.

Conclusion:

A very practical solution for laptop users.
