Preview: OCZ and Kingston memory kits out

Just after Computex we received the first two DDR3 memory kits.

OCZ provided 1GB of its Platinum Series called OCZ3P13331GK at CL 7-7-7-20 and we can say that the memory works well. The second kit comes from Kingston and it includes 2GB Kit of its HyperX-Series called KHX11000D3LLK2/2G with the same ratings.

We tried them in the MSI P35 Neo Combo and they simply work. The board is no an overclockers board, so we were not able to push it to the specified frequency because an SPD entry is missing. We will try to get a new bios and solve this issue or simply try a new motherboard.
