Core i5-520UM for €899

Intel has finally given the green light on its 32nm ULV chips, and MSI's X-Slim X360 will finally show its face in retail as of next month. This 13.3-inch ultra-thin notebook packs Intel's Core i5-520UM CPU, an 8-cell battery and a Windows Home Premium OS.

As noted, the MSI X-Slim X360 feature Core i5-520UM CPU clocked at 1.07GHz and has a 13.3-inch LED-backlit 1366x768 display. The rest of the features for this 1.6kg, 23mm thick, ultra-thin include up to 4GB of memory, Intel integrated graphics, up to 500GB of HDD space, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11bgn WiFi, Bluetooth, card reader and 1.3M web cam.

It will be avialable with an 8-cell battery which should be enough for around 9 hours of unplugged usage, at least according to MSI's testing. The X360 will come with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OS and should be available in European retail as of next month at a price  tag of €899.
