Asus' Pinetrail Eee PC's, 1005P and 1005PE, have been finally pixellized and got the specs as well. Netbooknews.de managed to score couple of these pictures, and it looks like Asus will be sticking to its recognizable theme with Pinetrail systems as well, after all why change something that ain't broken.

The Eee PC 1005P and 1005PE are pretty much the same device, except for some minor differences in specs and in battery life. Both feature a 10.1-inch 1024x600 screen, 1GB of memory, Intel's Atom N450, GMA 3150 graphics, either 160 or 250GB of hard drive space, 802.11bg WiFi and Windows 7 Starter OS.

The battery is detailed as 6-cell Li-Ion battery but the source suggests that the 1005PE might have a longer battery life of up to 12 hours, presumably due to the fact that the mentioned 6-cell batteries aren't of the same type.

Both of these have previously showed up at UK retail/e-tail site for £242.95 (US $395/€273) for the 1005P and £270.34 (US $439/€304) for the 1005PE. You can find them listed here and you can find the original pictures over at Netbooknews.de.
