Four Windows 7-flavored SKUs

We've come across an interesting find while browsing our price search engine, namely Gigabyte's Windows 7-flavored Touch Note T1028X refresh. Many will surely greet the upcoming versions of netbooks, as Windows 7 lifted the dark-ages-like 1024MB memory limit found on XP based netbooks.

While the device got a total of four new SKUs all of them come with Intel Atom N280 at 1.66GHz but all the devices have gotten 250GB of hard disk space. The new SKUs differ from one another in terms of memory quantity, UMTS implementation and Windows 7 OS version.

The first SKU retained the 1024MB of memory despite the fact that it will run on Windows 7 Starter. It's priced at 569 euro. The second in line is basically identical, except for the fact that it packs 2048MB of memory. It goes for 629 euro.

The third and fourth SKUs both come with UMTS and Windows 7 Starter, where the only difference is the quantity of memory. The 1024MB version is priced at 729 euro, while the 2048MB version is priced at 779 euro.

All the devices come with 6-cell batteries that the company claims should be good for about 6.5 hours, regardless of the SKUs.
