SU3500 and SU2700 SKUs

Two different SKUs of MSI's 12-inch U200 CULV based notebook have popped up in European retail/e-tail stores, but the cheaper Celeron ULV 723 based one is nowhere to be seen, despite the info from MSI that it should already be available.

The two new SKUs are based on either Intel's SU2700 CPU working at 1.3GHz with 2MB of L2 cache that sells under SKU name S2743VHP or the Intel's SU3500 working at 1.4GHz with 3MB of L2 cache selling under S3543UVHP SKU name.

The MSI Wind U200 series features a 12-inch glare display with 1366x768 resolution and come with HDMI and D-Sub outputs, three USB ports, Gigabit LAN, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth and 1.3MP webcam. Both models come with a 6-cell battery and weigh in at 1.3kg including battery. They also come with a 320GB hard drive and 4GB of DDR2 memory.

The more expensive S3543UVHP SKU also features HSPA support thanks to the UMTS module. The cheaper one, with the SU2700 CPU is listed with a lowest price of €583,24 but according to our info the price is set at €599 including tax. The more expensive one, is listed with the announced €699 price tag.

Just to remind you, the cheapest one based on the Celeron ULV 723 CPU was planned to hit retail at €499. You can find those two listed here.
