Apple likely to delay launch till early 2010

The recent rash of Apple tablet rumors has all of our rumor spinsters in a frenzy to give us the latest scoop. It seems that while we know that Apple is close to having a tablet product ready, they will not launch it at the September event.

The September event will be, as it normally is, music-focused; with the announcement of iTunes 9 for sure and likely new iPods to go along with it. At least some of the new iPods are likely to feature or offer a camera as part of the latest revisions, according to our shadow dwellers.

While we continue to hear that revisions to the Apple TV product will be part of this event, we don’t yet have any solid specifics on this yet.
