The powerful Battalion 101 M865TU

In addition to the last week announcement of Battalion 101 CZ-10 Premium, iBuyPower has announced yet another 15.6-inch notebook in its Battalion 101 series. The new Battalion 101 M865TU packs quite a punch in its 15.6-inch chassis and features a wide variety of Core 2 Duo CPUs, including the 2.93GHz clocked T9800.

As it focuses on sheer power rather than portability the new notebook comes with up to 4GB of memory, up to 500GB of hard drive space or SSD of up to 128GB and Nvidia's GTX 260M graphics card with 1GB of DDR3 memory. The 15.6-inch display has a native resolution of 1680x1050 pixels and the notebook is equipped with an 8-cell battery. The new Battalion 101 notebook feature DVI and HDMI outputs, a total of four USB ports, and 56K V.92 fax modem and Gigabit LAN.

The base model starts at US $1,499, and for this amount of money you get a Core 2 Duo Mobile P8600, 2GB of memory and 250GB hard drive. As always, iBuyPower offers wide variety of Logitech, Razer and SteelSeries peripherals.

You can find it here.
