Third music player in just over a week

Creative appears to have decided to do a trickle launch of its new devices, as the ZEN Mozaic is the third player the company has launched in a little over a week's time. The ZEN Mozaic is most likely set to replace the ZEN V over time, although we're not sure how popular it'll become.

The Mozaic will be available in three different colors, black, silver or pink, although all three models have inlays of other colors and shades in a mosaic style pattern. In terms of space, you're looking at 2, 4 or 8GB of memory, although in Europe it will come with up to 16GB, which isn't a bad thing.

It also comes with a built-in FM radio, it has a 1.8-inch LCD display, but don't expect to watch movies on it, as the resolution is a mere 128x160 pixels, which is very poor by today's standards. On top of this you get a voice recorder, eight preset EQ options and a custom option, USB 2.0 interface and up to 32h of battery life.

Supported music formats include MP3, WMA, WAV and Audible 4. It can also display JPEG images and play back some device specific video files. In Singapore the pricing is set at about €46 for the 2GB version, €60 for the 4GB version and €79 for the 8GB version. We're not sure what the official European pricing will be, but we don't think it'll be too far off the Singapore prices.
