An industry source have confirmed that the current
generation of Nvidia’s G8x cards can and will support Display Port.
Our sources believe that they will be able to launch a
Display port version of Geforce 8x cards this year already.
The only thing that currently keeps Nvidia’s people to
launch a Display port cards is that there is no a single monitor to support
Display Port. As soon as the monitors comes out Nvidia and its partners will be
ready to make and build them.
