A 16-year-old Chilean has been charged with murder after he apparently stabbed his 18-year-old brother to death.

The older brother allegedly turned off the teen's Playstation while he was in the middle of a game, which prompted the 16-year-old to grab a kitchen knife and stab his brother in the chest. The youth could face up to five years in prison if convicted.

The brothers were abandoned by their mother ten years ago and they lived in the care of a Belgian woman who was away during the incident.
