120 handcrafted crystals and a matching mouse

MSI has added yet another notebook to its Crystal edition series. This time it's the PR200, a small 12-inch notebook that, besides 120 handcrafted crystals, also comes with a matching mouse and a 1GB USB flash drive.

The PR200 Crystal Edition is based on Intel's GM965 Express chipset and uses Intel Core 2 Duo processors. It can be equipped with up to 2GB of memory and up to 250GB of storage. It has a 12" WXGA Amazing Crystal Vision display, while other specs include a 1.3M webcam, AI array microphone, 4-in-1 card reader, built in 802.11n Wireless LAN, Gigabit LAN, modem module, optional Bluetooth and, most importantly. HDMI output.

MSI's Crystal edition has been known to use Swarowski crystals, which added a rank or two in class. This time MSI didn't say that new PR200 Crystal edition uses Swarowski crystals, instead it is just stated that the new notebook features 120 beautifully handcrafted crystals, each bending 360 degrees of light. Either MSI decided not to use Swarowski or the crystals are still Swarowski, which  is not an issue since they still look good on the notebook lid. New MSI PR200 Crystal Edition ships with color-matching "pearl mouse" and a 1GB USB flash drive. We would like to see a flash drive with more decent capacity but 1GB is better than nothing.

According to MSI's Website, all of this is nicely packed in 30cm in length and 23cm inch wide body and it weighs 1.8 kg including battery. You can check out this nicely done notebook at MSI's product page here.
