$60, PC to get DL content


After a long wait, Ubisoft has now finally confirmed the launch date for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed II. The game will arrive on March 16th, but the best news is that it will run on a modest current Windows system according to the specifications that were also announced, with higher end systems being able to offer better performance.

Perhaps the decision that will likely have most PC gamers up in arms about the purchase of Assassin’s Creed II for the PC platform is the announcement that the title will be sold with a suggested retail price of $60, which is the same price as the console version of the game.

Because the PC version of the game is being sold for $60, PC gamers will get the two downloadable content packs, Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities, as part of the included package. Still, we suspect that some PC gamers will balk at the higher price despite the fact that they will get the two downloadable content packs as part of the deal.
