Forza developer jumps aboard Natal-wagon

Microsoft developer Turn 10 studios could be working on a new driving title specifically for Natal, according to various sources and that seems to be confirmed by a recent job posting. The studio is seeking a business development manager to drive content development for their next generation titles, including those for the Natal platform.

From the whispers that we hear, the general thought is that the Forza franchise, while much more accessible since the release of Forza 3, is still very simulation based. According to those claiming to be in the know, it would not be surprising to see Turn 10 apply their racing technology to create a title that is much more accessible, but at the same time is much more tailored for the utilization of the Natal motion input technology. This might be a better direction for the studio to go than to attempt to bring the Natal technology to the current Forza 3 title.

Of course, nothing is confirmed yet, but the fact that they mention Natal specifically in the job posting does indicate just how much of a focus there is on the development for the Natal platform. There is no doubt that Microsoft will continue to get developers to create products for Natal, which  should help the sales and adoption rate of the product once released later this year.
