Electronic Arts is teaming up with Dr. Pepper to provide exclusive content download codes for popular EA titles, including Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Mass Effect 2, The Sims 3, Battlefield Heroes and Spore.

The codes can be found on specially marked 20-ounce bottles of Dr. Pepper. The promotion will run for some time; and gives players a new way to gain exclusive content that can only be had by drinking Dr. Pepper and redeeming the codes.

Publishers releasing information about their new titles through the use of cross-promotion is becoming much more commonplace. Based on what we have learned about the downloadable content, if you are a fan of these titles you can get some cool stuff.
