Definitely

In a recent interview with Gamasutra, Samwise Didier and J. Allen Brack, the two of the most prominent forces behind Starcraft/Warcraft/WoW development have shared their views on Blizzard's future console game development.

Mr. Brack commented on how his company "made only PC games for the last 15 years, but there's a perception, I think, that Blizzard is anti-console, and that's absolutely not the case. We just want to make the right game for the right platform. Think about StarCraft II. Some real-time strategy games have tried to happen on the console. Some of those have been successful, but overall, our experience is that it's going to be a better game on the PC, ergo it's developed on the PC."

He added how WoW, for instance, was developed for the PC with a "PC-centric control scheme" and PC-centric way of playing. However, he also mentioned how he has two consoles at home and how the company will definitely work on a console game at some point. In his words, it's just a matter of what game and what makes the most sense.

When asked about the existence of any current console game development, they jokingly added how the company is working on seven games, and that StarCraft 17 is in the works for the Xbox 870. To bad we got rid of our Xbox 870 earlier this year.
