Light at the end of the tunnel?

The
news regarding EA haven’t been all great as of late, and the Q2 earnings report confirms this, but the company seems to remain pretty optimistic about the future. Now, however, it seems as if the company is trying to divert attention to its “latest and greatest” plans.

In a conference call, EA Games label boss Frank Gibeau said that the company has plans to “revitalise core IP [in the following months], including the Medal of Honor franchise”. As you probably know, Medal of Honor hasn’t fared as well as the competing Call of Duty series, something that apparently needs to change.

While hyping up Medal of Honor will probably do the company good in diverting attention from the actual performance, we doubt that it's the way to go. Anyhow, Mr. Gibeau said we’ll hear more about these plans in the following months, so MoH fans – stay tuned.

More here.
