It seems that despite all of the delays of the past, Gran Turismo 5 developer Polyphony Digital is sticking to its guns, saying that Gran Turismo 5 will release in Japan in March 2010. As for the release of Gran Turismo 5 in the North American market, the release is dependent on Sony Computer Entertainment America’s marketing decisions.

While SCEA has yet to make an official announcement as to when to expect Gran Turismo 5, our sources suggest that the company will make an official announcement on the North American release date in January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. As one source told us, it just stands to reason that they need something big to announce, and what better than the release date in North America for Gran Turismo 5?
