November 4th

Futuremark's Shattered Horizon is now available for pre-order and will officially launch on 4th of November. The best part of the deal is that it is priced at US $19.95/€19.95/£14.95 which acts like a cold shower after the €59.99 Modern Warefare 2 price tag announcement.

In order to boost pre-order sales, Futuremark has thrown in a 10 percent discount if you pre-order the game now. Those that were a part of Shattered Horizon beta testing and pre-order it through Steam gets 25 percent discount as a way to say thanks for helping.

Shattered Horizon is the first game from a company that is quite known for its benchmarks and the idea of zero-gravity space shooter certainly sounds like a lot of fun.

The guys from Futuremark Game Studios have also promised a lot of new levels, features that will be free via downloadable content packs, as well as the dedicated servers for North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand at launch with the server code being made available to everyone shortly afterwards. It looks like the price stab wasn't enough to show that Infinity Ward isn't going the right way, at least not in the eyes of the gaming community.

The game can be pre-ordered here.
